Description | Graduate science education within the Libin Cardiovascular Institute of Alberta gives students an opportunity to train with the world’s leading experts in basic, translational, clinical and patient care-related cardiovascular research. Our multidisciplinary research group environment allows students to gain important experience in the latest techniques and model systems. Exposure to a collaborative model, where many different research approaches are used to solve important problems of basic and disease-driven science, enhances the scope and value of the student experience. Training is available leading toward MSc, PhD degrees, or postdoctoral fellowships.
