Prerequisites Notes | Applicants must hold the BScN degree of the University of Toronto or an equivalent degree (a BN or BSN is considered equivalent). Applicants must have obtained at least a mid-B (75% or 3.0 GPA) standing in the final year of undergraduate study and, in addition, must have obtained at least a B standing in the next-to-final year
Applicants seeking admission to the Nurse Practitioner field must also have two years of clinical experience.

Description | he Master of Nursing Program is designed to prepare advanced practice nurses to provide professional leadership in their chosen advanced practice field. The MN program has three separate fields: Nursing Administration, Clinical Nursing, and Nurse Practitioner [Adult or Child Stream]. Students are admitted into one field. The MN program usually takes 2 years to complete. The Program is designed to provide students with the skills and competencies required for advanced practice nurses. The Program provides a) opportunities to effectively implement in practice a broad range of theoretical and research evidence relevant to nursing, b) a learning environment that reflects the research-intensive university, and c) an education that is responsive to a breadth of ideas and the complexities of caring for highly diverse populations within a variety of political, socioeconomic, and health care systems. | | |
