Courses cover advocacy, augmentative and alternative communication, disability issues, inclusive education, employment and behaviour supports, teaching techniques and more. Students complete at least two workplace practicums to gain hands-on experience in a community setting. The diploma provides a block transfer into several related university degrees. Students can also choose to complete a Behavioural Intervention (autism) specialty with their diploma. | | |
