Description | To be a competent, confident and successful acounting professional it is imperative to proficiently use industry standard Accounting courses and applications such as Simply Accounting for medium-sized businesses, QuickBooks for small businesses and ACCPAC for corporations focusing on various modules like General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll.
Also you will learn using Microsoft Office applications such as business analysis using Excel, database management using Access, business presentations using PowerPoint, and communication correspondence using Word. Payroll clerks collect, verify and process payroll information and determine pay and benefit entitlements for employees within a department, company or other establishment.
