Description | With main responsibilities being the mechanical operations of vessels, you'll maintain and control ship systems and operate machinery in senior positions. When the program and required sea-time are completed, you'll be eligible to write your engineering examinations and have credits up to the second-class level. This allows you to progress in the marine transportation industry to a senior position relatively quickly. You'll exit the program with a strong background in marine engineering technology. With real experience at sea, naval architecture and machinery maintenance, you'll quickly stand out from the competition.
This four-year program consists of seven semesters, two technical sessions and three work terms. | | |
