Prerequisites Notes | Unconditional Admission: You must earn a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and have fulfilled all of the admission requirements.
Conditional Admission: You may be admitted with the understanding that you must complete all required pre-requisites. A minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 is required for these courses.
Advanced Standing: You may be admitted if you have graduate credits or graduate degrees from other programs. You must provide evidence of equivalence, such as course syllabi. The maximum transfer credits allowed is 30 semester hours.
The minimum G.P.A. for admission is 3.0 (or B) based on the last two years of the B.A. (presuming these include predominantly upper-level courses) and the minimum grades of four of the upper-level courses in the major must be 3.7 (A-).

Description | The M.A. Counselling Psychology program provides a unique learning experience by integrating counselling skills and scientific psychology. Graduates are eligible to apply for professional certification, be admitted to doctoral study in Counselling Psychology or a related discipline, or enter directly into a variety of helping professions.
This two-year, full-time program, requires students to complete a minimum of 63 semester hours of curriculum, over 600 hours of clinical supervised experience, and successful completion of either a comprehensive professional exam or a thesis. | | |
