Description | Computer science is your gateway to mastering the technology that is rapidly revolutionizing our world. Students with a solid understanding of computers will be greeted with many an open door in the future job market-not to mention the applications of a degree in the field are limitless. As a student, you will be able to tailor your education to your future aims by choosing from three program streams: Business, Science, and Hardware. In each, you will enjoy core Computer Science courses, such as computer programming and data structures, and a valuable background in your area of interest. Additionally, you can choose from several advanced topics such as game programming, software engineering, computer graphics, and crytography.
You will have considerable opportunity to put your skills to practice through our co-op program. While on placement, you will gain valuable work experience with some of the nation’s largest employers-and be handsomely paid. As well, many students go on to find permanent work with their co-op employers upon graduation.
