Prerequisites Notes | The Kinesiology Diploma requires passing grades and an overall average of 60 percent in the following Alberta Education high school courses or equivalents. For course groups, refer to the Classification of Alberta Education Courses.

Description | Completion of Kinesiology Diploma program is the starting point for careers as educators, or as administrators in fitness centres, leisure centres, senior citizen/retirement complexes, colleges and universities, the private and business sector and provincial, national and international sport associations and events. You will also be eligible for introductory careers in athletic therapy, personal fitness training, fitness consulting, and coaching. The Kinesiology Diploma also builds the foundation for further education in the Kinesiology field by offering same courses as the Kinesiology University Transfer program, thus students who wish to continue on and complete a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology may do so. Students wanting to graduate with the Kinesiology Diploma program must declare at the time of registration. On your application, identify Kinesiology Diploma Program and your application will be considered in accordance with the specifics to ensure you meet the University requirements if you wish to transfer your studies. | | |
