DescriptionThe graduate programs in the Department of Biological Sciences at Simon Fraser University are designed to provide students with the best possible research and academic preparation in a diversity of subdiciplines. Both MSc and PhD programs are available in diverse research areas ranging from molecules to ecosystems; interested individuals should contact potential supervisors directly. The Department also offers two applied degrees, the MPM (Master of Pest Management) and MET (Master of Environmental Toxicology). Potential MPM students should also contact a potential supervisor directly, whereas the largely course-based MET program requires students to identify a supervisor only after they have begun their program.
