Prerequisites Notes | Admission to Prairie requires a student to be a high school graduate with a minimum final average of 60% in five senior (Grade 12) subjects, one of which must be English. Applicants are also required to have a minimum of a 60% average in English 30/33, Social Studies 30/33, and a 30/33-level science, math, or foreign language course (if taken). If a student is not enrolled in five Grade 12 subjects, course marks from relevant Grade 11 subjects may be considered. In most of the other Canadian provinces, grade 12 is equivalent to the Alberta Secondary School Diploma. Description | Learn to work effectively with people of other cultures by developing skills to study, understand and communicate the message of Christ. Prairie’s Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies (BAIS) includes studies in Bible, theology, anthropology and the social sciences to increase your understanding of God’s character and work and the diversity of human cultures. Practical ministry experiences gained through outreach and internship programs will help you grow as a servant of Christ and as a contributing member of the global church.
