Description | Social Scientists are interested in people and how they interact with one another and their environment. They are the politicians, psychologists, historians and lawyers who better understand our world and tackle its many challenges. On the Commerce side, the focus is more on business — the role companies play in society and how business ethics and corporate governance shape our world.
Social Science gives you a wide range of choices and allows you to learn to analyze, think critically and conduct research, which are essential skills at university and in the workplace. Choosing Social Science in college leads to a Diplôme d’études collégiales or DEC. When you choose the Social Science program at Marianopolis, you apply into one of eight profiles, each of which leads to a Social Science diploma and all of which open many doors at university. | | |
