| Prerequisites Notes | In order to be considered for admission to the Master of Laws program, applicants must have an undergraduate law degree from a Canadian university with a minimum grade point average equivalent to a "B" (70%) or an equivalent foreign law degree with comparable results. Applicants should note that meeting the minimum standard for admission does not guarantee that admission will be granted. Applicants who have not studied in French or in English must also provide proof of sufficient aptitute to study at an advanced level in French or in English. | | |

| Description | The Master in Laws with Research Paper option (without concentration) is a joint endeavour of the Common Law and Civil Law Sections. We welcome law graduates from both legal systems and from countries around the world. Courses are offered in English or in French, and occasionally in both languages. Students may readily complete their graduate studies while learning something of Canada's other legal and linguistic traditions.
