The minimum cumulative grade point average required for admission is 3.5. Students who perform well in our MA program can be transferred directly into the PhD program after two semesters. | | |

Description | The PhD program consists of core and elective courses, comprehensive examinations, and the completion and defense of an original dissertation. The PhD program is offered on a full-time basis. We have almost 150 PhD graduates who have gone on to teach in universities and colleges, serve as advisors and officials for provincial, state, and national governments, as well as work in a variety of roles in private industry.
