Professionals are evaluated and promoted largely by their ability to communicate effectively. This course shows students just how to do it in the most common forms of written communication with colleagues, clients, suppliers, and others using memos, letters, reports, short notes, and e-mails. Students will learn to select and use appropriate North American business formats, styles, conventions, and tone and receive guidance in writing clearly, concisely, correctly, and persuasively. Expect up to three hours of homework each week. | | |
