DescriptionComputation is now fundamental to scientific discovery and engineering design alike. The Boeing 777 Dreamliner, for instance, was conceived mostly on a computer, complete with detailed calculations of aerodynamic and control properties. Drugs can also be designed on computers as can modern materials. By taking our Scientific Computing and Numerical Methods program, you can become an expert in the algorithms behind these ground-breaking innovations.

You can complete this program as a 4-year Honours Bachelor degree with a Double Major or a 3-year Bachelor degree. Registration in the honours degree usually begins in the second year, but admission may be gained in the third or fourth year provided you meet requirements.
