The Honours program in Computer Science at the University of Manitoba was the first Honours program in Canada to be given professional accreditation by the Canadian Information Processing Society. The program provides an opportunity to study the subject in greater depth than the other programs in Computer Science and leads to an Honours Bachelor of Computer Science degree (B.C.Sc.).
