Description | This program option equips and inspires students to design next-level advancements in a potentially limitless range of high-tech fields. Students start with the basics of circuit design, computer programming, the key elements of physics and the language of mathematics. Next, they learn how to analyze complex electronics systems. We challenge and inspire our students to shape the next generation of technology by answering the fundamental questions of how to make solutions and networks faster, better, more powerful or even smaller – the only limit is their imagination.
Graduates from the Electronics Engineering option will be able to design the key systems that are the foundation of our ever-expanding high-tech world. They will possess a sound knowledge of electronic design combined with excellent – and highly sought-after – practical skills. More information on the co-op education program can be found at http://www.sfu.ca/content/sfu/coop/programs/eng/home.html. | | |
