DescriptionOur Bachelor of Architectural Studies (BAS) brings creative thinking to the design of buildings and communities. Use drawing, modelling and visualization technologies to engage in urgent social, political and environmental issues.

The pre-professional BAS degree is structured around project-oriented design studios and individual mentoring. It is supported by dedicated faculty teaching courses in history and theory, drawing, multimedia applications, building technology and construction. The program offers exciting research projects and experiences, including Co-op and study abroad. You can also participate in semester-long international exchanges in cities such as Durban, Liverpool, Madrid, Melbourne and Paris. Workshops include furniture design, digital fabrication, building information modelling, advanced structures and community development. The Open Forum Lecture Series presents talks by internationally acclaimed architects and designers.
