Description | The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) consists of seven courses. Each of these courses is intensive, requiring more than the normal number of classroom hours; integrated to involve academic reading, writing, speaking, listening, vocabulary, and idioms. Each of these courses is completed in one semester. Students taking ENGL 098 are permitted to take two academic courses simultaneously if they have the required prerequisites; students taking ENGL 099 may take up to three simultaneous academic courses. If the student is successful, these academic courses are counted for credit toward the student’s Associate of Arts Degree program. | | |
