DescriptionThis program gives you the opportunity to focus on the emerging field of nanotechnology, giving you an introduction to the processes involved in the fabrication of nanoscale integrated circuits and in designing the tools necessary for the mass production of nanoscale systems. Focusing on the study, design, and fabrication of materials less than a micrometre (0.000001 metres) in size, nanotechnology has thousands of potential consumer and industrial applications, ranging from the speed of computers to the quality of drinking water in remote communities.
