Description | International studies is a multidisciplinary field that arms you with a deeper understanding of how governments, law, politics, business, civil society, culture, science, and the environment relate on the international stage. Throughout your degree, you will study the relations between countries, regions, international organizations, and transnational networks. Our prestigious International Studies curriculum — the country's first — has a strong reputation both in Canada and around the world. With 20 percent of the students from outside of Canada, Glendon's multicultural and multilingual campus is an ideal setting for this programme. Students develop a strong understanding of international society. They also have the opportunity to participate in an exchange programme with global universities like Université de Paris-Sorbonne, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and more than 50 other universities around the world. Our award-winning International Studies Symposium — a student-led project — offers the chance to take part in an in-depth study of a country or region, organize an international conference, and, in some instances, also visit the chosen country for a field study. | | |
