Description | In this two-year diploma program, you'll become well-grounded in everything from plant propagation to soil science and entomology. You’ll also be exposed to a variety of business courses and concepts, giving you practical skills and basic insight into running your own agricultural business. You’ll do all of this and more at Dalhousie’s beautiful Agricultural Campus in Truro, N.S. In plant science, you’ll gain more than a theoretical knowledge of plants. You’ll learn how to solve problems, get insight into diagnostics, and holistically analyze systems. You’ll see first-hand how environmental factors affect plant growth and discover how you can control and improve them. You’ll also learn how to grow a plant-dependent business and graduate knowing your education sets you apart from the rest. | | |
