Description | The Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health, is a department within McGill's Faculty of Medicine. The Department has a tradition of excellence in the teaching of epidemiology at the graduate level and is home to over 50 dynamic and active faculty members whose fields of inquiry include clinical epidemiology, respiratory epidemiology, pharmaco-epidemiology, population and public health, infectious disease epidemiology, women's health, reproductive epidemiology and maternal and child health, occupational health, and cancer epidemiology. Emerging new areas include social epidemiology, genetic and molecular epidemiology, technology assessment, health outcomes and cost effectiveness evaluation, health services research and clinical research informatics. | | |
