DescriptionThe Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at Memorial University offers graduate programs leading to master of engineering (M.Eng.) and doctor of philosophy (PhD) degrees in ocean and naval architectural engineering, including the related multidisciplinary fields of hydrodynamics, materials, mechanics, ocean environmental engineering, ocean robotics and structures.

The ocean engineering program is the only one of its kind in Canada. It is renowned for its unique approach, diverse research projects and exceptional faculty, which includes top researchers from all engineering disciplines; faculty members from other departments at Memorial and other universities; and professionals from a variety of related industries.
