| Prerequisites Notes | High School Graduation Diploma or Mature Student Status (18 years of age and high school equivalency assessment passed); passing score on the PSW Prior Learning entrance examination; provide negative Police check – including a Vulnerable Sector check; provide a medical certificate indicating current immunization status and signed off by a regulated healthcare professional; demonstrated fluency in English (oral and written) and an admission interview to determine suitability for a career as a Personal Support Worker. Must have demonstrated experience as a Health Care Aide or home Support Worker.
