Prerequisites Notes | Applicants must have completed their Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent as well as Grade 12 English (ENG4U) and Grade 12 Biology (U). In addition, one of Grade 12 Physics (U), Grade 12 Math (U), or Grade 12 Chemistry (U). Description | Sheridan's facilities include a new, state-of-the-art Athletic Therapy Clinic with aquatic rehab, dedicated lab space with brand new equipment and new training facilities. All educators are Certified Athletic Therapists with advanced degrees in the areas of rehabilitation sciences, biomechanics and physiology, as well as extensive experience working in the field.
Students will learn gain: advanced athletic therapy skills such as field assessment and injury treatment, clinical assessment and rehabilitation, entrepreneurial business skills to help you establish a practice, research skills to ensure you always stay current in the field, and 1,200 hours of embedded athletic therapy course experience while in school. | | |
