Description | Economics and Business is significantly different from other business programs - it combines business subjects with courses in mathematics and economics, encouraging an analytical approach to the study of business problems. Emphasis is on economic problem-solving skills rather than on managerial skills. The Economics and Business program offers formal areas of concentration designed to permit you to pursue an area of special interest in greater depth. There are five formal areas of concentration: business mathematics, financial analysis, international economics, labour relations, and public policy. | | |
