| Description | History at Ulster covers the period from the early modern era to the 20th Century. Students are given the opportunity to select from a diverse range of modules that cover Ireland, Britain, the Americas, and Europe. Political, social, economic and cultural history are given due weighting in the programme.
English as a minor supplements your Major Subject by enabling you to progress from a broad awareness into a critically informed knowledge of English literature. The minor allows you to study both English Literatures historical range and depth but also its contemporary examples.
