Note: Students with Pre-calculus 12 or Foundations of Math 12 with a minimum C+ will be exempt from MATH 1100 and will need to make up the 3 credits with an elective of their choice.

| Description | Apply your creativity and keen eye for detail toward a career in event management. This program provides a practical overview of the functions, skills and knowledge required to successfully plan, organize, manage, promote and evaluate a festival, convention, trade show or special event.
Employment opportunities exist within corporations, associations, hotels and resorts, convention centres, municipal convention and visitors' bureaus, and destination management companies. As well, there are opportunities for graduates with entrepreneurial spirit to start their own business.
