Description | The Personal Support Worker program at Oxford College prepares students for careers in a range of healthcare settings. Our diploma program gives you the hands-on training and theoretical knowledge required for a rewarding career as a personal support worker.
As a personal support worker, you will provide personal care and companionship to seniors, persons with disabilities, and convalescent clients. Care is provided within the client’s residence, in which the home support worker may also reside. Personal support workers ensure the safety and well-being of their clients, and demonstrate sensitivity and respect for each individual in their care. | | |
