Description:Environmental Technologists work for nature. They focus on the conservation of natural resources (fish and wildlife, habitat and ecosystems, agriculture, etc.) and work to heal some of the damage caused by humans. You’ll learn how to operate laboratory, field and monitoring equipment in order to sample, evaluate and analyze data collected from air, water, groundwater and soil. Environmental Technology is a rapidly developing field, you’ll find meaningful work on field sites or in research and communications departments of government and business.

  • 2 of  Grade12 Biology  or  Grade12 Chemistry  or  Grade12 Physics  or  Grade12 Science 
High School Diploma or Adult High School Diploma or GED Diploma of High School Equivalency or Essential Skills Achievement Pathway: Post-Secondary Entry High School Diploma with:



  • Foundations of Mathematics 110 or Geometry and Applications in Mathematics 112 and Functions and Relations 112
  • Total of two (2) sciences, including at least one (1) from the following:
  • Biology 112 or 122
  • Chemistry 112 or 122
  • Physics 112 or 122 (recommended)
