Description: | Sheridan's four-semester Practical Nursing diploma program is approved (Category 1) by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). When you graduate from this program, you'll be eligible to apply to take the new Regulatory Exam-Practical Nurse (REx-PN). When you've successfully completed the REx-PN, you'll be issued a license to practice as a Registered Practical Nurse in Ontario. |

- Grade12 English
- Grade11 Biology
- Grade12 Mathematics
- Grade12 Chemistry
Applicants must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or have mature student status. Grade 11 Chemistry is also acceptable. Applicants must have a minimum grade of 70% in the Grade 12 (C) or (U) Mathematics prerequisite. Non-academic requirements are a current certificate in CPR (Basic Rescuer) and St. John Standard First aid for adults, children, and infants; a current immunization record, a current criminal record check and all applicants must also take the HOAE (Health Occupation Aptitude Exam) pre-admission test. |
