| Description: | In this short, full-time program, participants focus on improving speaking and listening skills while increasing vocabulary and fluency. Topics are inspired by current language teaching approaches, methods and practices and designed for students’ interests and needs. This program is designed for English teachers with high-intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
Participants are encouraged to self-reflect and think critically (i.e. analyze, evaluate, problem-solve) through a variety of activities such as group discussions, oral-presentations, role-plays, debates, forums, field-trips, and guest speaker presentations/workshops. Participants learn through multiple modes of media (i.e. video, audio, computer software).
