Description:The film industry is thriving in Canada and there is a growing need for skilled workers in this dynamic and exciting field. Learn hands-on the art of filmmaking using the latest digital technologies. This program is geared for the industry of today, and will immerse you in all aspects of production including cinematography, screenwriting, art direction, post production, lighting and sound, directing and producing. You will gain a solid foundation in cinematic storytelling and graduate with the tools you need to enter this rapidly-changing and evolving field.

Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.

OSSD or equivalent, ENG4C or ENG4U.
Test Scores:
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 525] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 60] or DuoLingo or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 55] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 5.5]
