Prerequisites:* | These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. An applicant must meet the following program requirements: High school graduation or equivalent (mature students are welcome to apply); and English 12 or equivalent with a grade of "C" or better, or a minimum Language Proficiency Index (LPI) score of level 4, or English 51 from Selkirk College.

Application Notes : | If your first language is not English, you must meet the following English Language Proficiency requirements for entry in to Selkirk College University Transfer, Diploma or Degree programs: completion of BC English 12, or equivalent; or completion, with a grade of "C+" or better, advanced core courses in the Selkirk College English Language Program and Provincial Level English 51; or submission of a TOEFL score of 213 (computer) or ibt 79-80 or better; or submission of an IELTS score of 6.0 or better; or submission of an EIKEN Grade Pre -1; or submission of an acceptable score on the Language Proficiency Index score of 4 or better. For Indian students coming through the SPP program, the IELTS requirement for diploma programs is 6.0 with no band less than 5.5. |

Applicants are required to submit: a completed résumé which includes a record of previous employment and a record of any volunteer work relevant to the proposed field of study; a one-page statement explaining their goals and objectives for wanting to enroll in the program; and two completed personal reference forms.
