Description: | This program examines the scientific, cultural, economic, moral, political and social dimensions of environmental issues. You will have the opportunity to choose one of three areas of concentration: Environment and Peoples of Canada; Politics, Society, and the Global Environment; and Food and Society.
This unique interdisciplinary degree allows you to study widely among courses offered by the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences, the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Science, and the Faculty of Native Studies, providing you with an expansive framework to understand and contribute to the solution of environmental problems. This degree prepares you for further study or specialization in a variety of fields and careers, including law, business, economics, resource management, and journalism. |
