CAPS: Your U of A Career Centre offers workshops, seminars, counselling, and many other services to help students with career planning. There are also several options for international students to work while they study: on and off-campus employment, co-op work programs, and internships are available.
UAlberta is proud of its 25 varsity sports teams! The Golden Bears (men) and Pandas (women) teams have won 60 national sports titles. Teams include basketball, volleyball, football, hockey, and more. Students can also take part in non-competitive athletics through Campus Recreation. The UAlberta ONEcard (student ID) will give current students access to most campus athletic and fitness facilities.
UAlberta's North (main) campus is located centrally in Edmonton, with easy access to downtown and the trendy Old Strathcona district. Subway/bus stations located on campus make it easy to get around the city and visit attractions, like West Edmonton Mall. North Campus is right on the banks of the beautiful North Saskatchewan river, with walking trails and scenic parks, perfect for outdoor activities.

The University provides a computing ID to all students and staff, granting them high quality Internet access in our wireless network throughout campus. In addition, students have the opportunity to learn in technologically enhanced SMART classrooms and use the 43 computer labs across campus.
