Successful completion of Canadian grade 12 or its equivalent (twelve years of formal education; international students should refer to the list of acceptable international education credentials in Appendix 1). International students must complete twelve years of formal education to be eligible for admission to the Centre. A typed essay with a minimum of 250 words is required. It should outline your previous experience and incorporate how your educational goals relate to your intended career direction. An academic or professional letter or character reference (must be an original), preferably written by an employer, instructor, or close family friend. A portfolio is required with the application for admission into the 2D Animation & Digital Art program, the Animation for Game, Film, & Visual Effects, and the Digital Photography program.

The checklists are provided to assist in ensuring that all information is included with the application. If an application is received unsigned it will be returned.
