To determine a student's suitability, New Westminster looks at the whole student including academic transcripts, attendance records, and extracurricular activities. Students are also encouraged to submit personal essays and letters of reference from teachers, if these will bring to our attention further information that is relevant to the application.
To apply to the International Education Program, an applicant should submit:
- A completed application form.
- Original transcripts or certified true copies from the current year and two years previous.
- A current photograph.
- The application fee.
If the student is accepted, they will be sent a letter of offer, which includes an invoice for the school fees. Upon payment of the school fees, the student will be sent a letter of acceptance, which is the document they require to apply for a student visa.
