McGill University offers a need-based Entrance Financial Aid program to students from modest income families who have been accepted for undergraduate studies. Where eligible, students must apply for and receive government student aid in order to be considered for need-based student assistance. Upon acceptance to the University, entering undergraduate students may apply for entrance aid on the Financial Aid Menu on MINERVA. In addition, McGill offers a program of In-Course Financial Aid to students who are experiencing financial difficulties while they are in full time attendance.
