Since 1999, Animation Portfolio Workshop has been training students in the fundamental drawing and animation portfolio prep skills required to help them enter top tier animation and art schools worldwide. Founded and directed by two former Instructors from the Sheridan College Classical Animation Program, Animation Portfolio Workshop has placed thousands of students into post secondary art and animation programs.

The first animation portfolio prep program of its kind in Canada, the Workshop's hybrid curriculum was carefully designed to cultivate the high level of drawing practice expected of students wishing to matriculate from the best animation schools, as well as a corresponding entrance level animation portfolio of the highest calibre.

To get into a top animation school you need to submit a portfolio of your drawings that demonstrate skills in the areas of observational drawing, perspective, character design, life drawing and more.
