Assiniboine Community College (ACC) has been providing exceptional learning experiences for over 55 years. For staff and students alike, ACC offers unparalleled learning environments and responds well to the demands and requirements of the Manitoba labour market. Instructors follow the philosophy of ‘learn by doing’, combining theory with hands-on learning inside classrooms, labs, kitchens, shops, fields and the college’s Sustainable Greenhouse. ACC is an accredited college with the Government of Manitoba Council on Post-Secondary Education.
Our Victoria Avenue East Campus, North Hill Campus (Len Evans Centre for Trades and Technology, the Manitoba Institute of Culinary Arts and the college's new sustainable greenhouse) and Adult Collegiate are located in Brandon. Our Parkland Campus is located in Dauphin, Manitoba. We also have a campus in Winnipeg that delivers our Practical Nursing program and continuing studies courses. Our college continues to partner with many communities and organizations across the province to deliver customized education and training.
Your college experience will be more successful if you have a quiet, comfortable and affordable place to live. We strongly encourage all students to search for housing early and even consider taking up residency as early as August 1 or 15 so you have some time to settle before classes begin in September. Brandon's housing availability is tight, especially when all the college and university students are arriving in September! The college does not have a student residence or housing, or a homestay program.
Brandon University welcomes ACC students in modern residences located approximately three kilometres from the college and there are good bus connections between Brandon University and Assiniboine Community College. For further details on the residence, see their website brandonu.ca/residence or contact the Brandon University Residence Office at 204.727.7394.
