Established in 1967, Fanshawe College is the fifth largest of the Province of Ontario's community colleges. Fanshawe offers approximately 90 career-specific programs in applied arts, business, health and human services, and technology. As a leader in cooperative education, one-third of these programs is available in the co-op mode. In addition, numerous part-time courses, workshops, conferences, and adult training programs provide opportunities for professional development, skills upgrading, and life-long learning.
Fanshawe College, with locations in London, Woodstock, St. Thomas, Simcoe, Tillsonburg and Strathroy, Ontario, maintains strong partnerships with local and regional governments, educational institutions, businesses, industries, community groups, and advisory councils to ensure that our programs remain relevant. The college is a Canadian co-op education leader and provides a wide range of lifelong learning opportunities.

Fanshawe has three traditional residences on campus, as well as townhouse units at 900 Fanshawe College. The on-campus residence buildings and townhouse provide accommodations for 1,616 students. The $9,300 Residence fee includes a mandatory $1,200 meal plan. Fees can be paid in full or in 3 installments (for installment option, add administration fee of $125 and for the manager-approved payment plan, add administration fee of $200).
London is a vibrant city with a wide selection of accommodations and Fanshawe students add a diverse mix to the London community.
Fanshawe is a member of the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) and the Canadian College Athletic Association. A number of intramural and intercollegiate teams play sports throughout the school year including Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Badminton, Cross Country Running and Floor Hockey. The fitness club at the London campus is open to all Fanshawe students.
Fanshawe College is known for its progressive learning environment, which includes individualized computer learning, videoconference facilities, on-line courses, resource centres and libraries.
The First Nations Centre is a gathering place for native students where they can mingle and receive assistance.
Students with disabilities will receive assistance as needed to help them meet the challenges of their program. Assistance includes counselling, assessment exam accommodations, note taking, tutoring, and technical aids.
For students with learning disabilities, the Millennium Centre provides assessments, program planning, adaptive communication, technical aid transition services and individual assistance. The goal of the centre is to promote independence, fair and equal access to education for all students.
Applicants with special needs are invited to identify themselves early in the application process so their accommodation requirements may be evaluated. The Services for Students with Disabilities Office coordinates services including arranging interviews and campus tours, facilitating access to educational assistive devices, and providing a Peer Assistance program.
Childcare facilities are available for children from three months to five years.
A physician is available at the Health Services located at the Oxford Street campus in London.
Fanshawe College has a global reach program and is committed to international education and training. The College has developed many overseas initiatives in partnership with the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and the Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC). These initiatives include providing training, either on-site or at Fanshawe, for governments, organizations, and institutions in the Philippines, Palestine, Ecuador, Zambia, Brazil, Jamaica, and the People's Republic of China. Fanshawe also provides customized skill training for Canadian companies serving international clientele.

Counselling and Student Life Services provides counselling for students to assist them with issues related to academic, vocational, financial, personal and special learning needs.
Restaurants and food services available include Heliotrope, Outback Shack, Olive Oyles Deli, Falcons Nest, Tim Hortons, Pizza Pizza and the Cafeterias (three cafeterias are open during the day and serve a variety of hot and cold meals).
