Mohawk College offers programs leading to certificates, diplomas, and degrees. There are also courses in re-training, co-operative education, skilled trades, and apprenticeships, as well as general and specific interest continuing education. The College has entered into many partnerships in training and technology to make it more valuable to the students and the community at large.
The College was first established in the 1960s with the idea to provide a college to service the needs of the changing communities. It would become a post-secondary institution that would offer a new vocational training option, one that would bring educated and trained graduates beyond post-secondary directly into the labour force. The name Mohawk College reflects the special nature of a large area of Brant County, including the Six Nations and New Credit Reservations, the city of Brantford, part of the adjacent region of Haldimand-Norfolk, and the county of Wentworth.
We offer a range of programs to suit the needs of different learners. These programs include Co-operative Education, Continuing Education, Engineering Technology, Health Sciences and Human Services, Business, Applied Arts, and Media Studies.
