Camber College is first and foremost a school that focuses on teaching English with an excellent curriculum, experienced teachers, staff and small class sizes that allow each student more focused attention. We also offer our students a chance to experience a wide variety of amazing activities such as skiing, snowboarding, horseback riding, camping and scuba diving. Camber College is located in Powell River, BC which is a small, safe town on BC’s beautiful Sunshine Coast and is only a quick 25 minute plane ride from Vancouver, BC. Areas of Expertise

Camber College specializes in English language instruction and offers a wide variety of course and certificates. At Camber College you can study for your Cambridge exam, TOEFL, TESOL, TOEIC, IELTS. We are a proud member of Languages Canada and just recently had our Intensive English program approved by the Saudia Arabian Cultural Bureau. We also offer to students who are interested a chance to learn to scuba dive while learning English.

Homestay accommodations are offered. The cost is $680 per month. The fee includes three meals a day and a private room. All homestay families are native English speakers who help students to improve their English skills through constant, practical use. Most of the homestays are located within walking distance of the school, and are also on the main bus routes.

The following activities are offered at Camber College: skiing and snowboarding, golfing, hiking and orienteering, sailing, scuba diving, horseback riding, Canadian cooking and culture, sea-kayaking and canoeing, archery, and jet skiing and water sports.
