Come to the AACSB-Accredited Sobey School of Business to make an impact with purpose. If you aspire to a career that fulfills your passion and allows you to make your mark, explore our BComm, Masters, PhD or professional development programs. Sobey is the business school of choice for established and emerging business leaders.
A business school's best impact can't always be measured with numbers. The stories of our students, alumni and researchers and the ways they have influenced and affected communities, businesses and the economy: these are the impacts we are most proud of.
But we also appreciate the importance of measuring and quantifying aspects of our work. In 2016, we released Creating an Impact with Purpose, a report that both quantified our effect on the region in terms of parameters like the economic, reputational, educational and social.
Since then, reflecting the practices of many businesses, we have focused efforts on measuring, tracking and analyzing the impact of our work, our people and our research. In 2018, we released a report describing the impact of our Co-operative Management Education group.
Graduate student housing is available in one of our three on-campus residences.
An off-campus housing office is available to help you find suitable accommodations in Halifax.
Saint Mary’s University and the Sobey School of Business offer a full suite of career services to our students. You can access career readiness preparation such as coaching, resume writing, interview preparation or networking skills. You can learn about on and off campus job and career opportunities through career fairs, employer information sessions or Career360°. Extracurricular activities help round out your university experience.
