The university’s liberal education foundation enables students to take a variety of subjects and discover what they are passionate about while developing essential critical thinking and analytic skills. On average, there are 32 students per class (after first year), providing a personal learning environment.

Students can submit a housing application online at ulethbridge.ca/housing. There are two buildings allocated for first-year students. University Hall has dormitory style rooms. Kainai House is an apartment building with 2, 4 and 6 bedroom apartments. When you fill out your Housing application, you can rank rooms in order of preference based on the areas you wish to live. However, this may limit your chances of securing a spot in residence, depending on the availability of your preferred location. uLethbridge has 520 residence beds available to students after their first year of University. Rooms in Piikani House Apartment Building, Mount Blakiston Apartment Building, Siksika & Tsuu t'ina Single Student townhomes, and Residence Village townhouses are available Students who are in their 2nd year or later of studies are eligible to apply for a space in these buildings.

If you are interested in trying out for a varsity team the best thing you can do is contact the coach early on. You can also go online and fill out the Prospective Athlete Form for more information. Coaches recruit the majority of Pronghorn student athletes prior to the start of the season. However, each varsity team will hold an open try-out in the weeks leading up to their season. CKXU is our volunteer-run campus and community radio station that broadcasts live from the University of Lethbridge Students' Union Building more than 126 hours per week, year round. CKXU is committed to showcasing, promoting, and enhancing southern Alberta's diversity through providing an intelligent, innovative, and entertaining alternative to the radio currently available in Lethbridge. CKXU offers a wide range of programming including an eclectic mix of musical programming, campus and world news, and a vast variety of special interest programming with topics ranging from international peace and sports to the energy sector in Alberta and climate change. More than 100 volunteers assist in on-air programming, advertising, fundraising and production of each show. All a student needs to get involved is an interest in diversity and a willingness to learn!

There are more than 70 clubs on campus that provide social and athletic activities, travel, religious fellowship, and charitable and cultural support. Some clubs surf in California while others debate in Ottawa. Some have hosted speakers and sponsored conferences; some have presented art shows and music concerts. Clubs provide opportunities to meet new people on campus, develop a support system, connect with other students in your program, or try out a new interest. You may even discover a hidden talent.

One of the key advantages of our small, friendly Lethbridge campus is it’s easy to stay connected. From FreshFest in September to Last Class Bash in April, you will have endless opportunities to fill your social calendar. Catch a Pronghorns game with your new roommate, take in a performance at the University Theatre with your drama class or join the Management Students’ Society on one of their ski trips. The Health Centre provides convenient access to quality healthcare on campus. Whether you are from the Lethbridge area and don't have a family doctor, or are moving to attend uLethbridge you won't need to worry about finding a doctor. We are located in the Students' Union building on the basement level, SU020. The Health Centre is pleased to offer a diverse team of physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, dietician, and administrative staff to provide a wide range of services.
