Description: | The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree provides students with an engaging learning experience. In Years 1 and 2, after meeting the Admission Requirements, students receive a General Education in the humanities and social sciences as well as a strong grounding in the Core business areas. Students from other institutions following the Diploma-Entry Route will receive transfer credit for most of these courses. The Honours Option in the BBA offers high-calibre students the opportunity to gain recognition for their superior academic performance.
In Years 3 and 4, students complete the Core including the program’s capstone course in business strategy in their final semester. In addition, students acquire a specialization in a functional area of business. Specializations take the form of Majors consisting of eight or more courses. The majors prepare students to pursue a Professional Designation after graduation and provide the extensive course work needed to meet the competencies established by the profession. Students interested in Economics can also select that discipline, or those who want more breadth in their business studies can choose the General BBA.
