Admission requirements vary by program. Detailed information by program is available on the TRU international student admissions page.
TRU takes a different approach to admissions. Open programs will indicate specific courses and grades required in these courses for admission. If a student is missing a specific course, they may still be considered for admission while they upgrade. Limited or Selective programs will consider courses, grades, personal statements, letters or recommendation, etc.
English language proficiency: students are encouraged to provide proof of English language proficiency at the time of application, however, it's not required. Students who do not provide an accepted language test, will be required to take the TRU language test prior to registering in courses.
The following are recommended application deadlines, we encourage you to apply as early as possible.
